  • Do you offer a free consultation session?

    • Yes, we offer clients an initial free phone consultation to discuss your goals and to provide us both with an opportunity to evaluate if we might be a good fit to work together.

    What if I cannot come into the office for sessions?

    • We offer online therapy (often called teletherapy or e-therapy). We use a HIPPA compliant Skype-like platform, which can be accessed from your cell phone, iPad or laptop, so we can meet without you having to leave the comfort of your home or office.

    How long are sessions?

    • Our virtual therapy sessions are 45-minutes long

    Do you take insurance?

    • We are considered out-of-network but we can provide you with a superbill so you can get reimbursed by your insurance if you have a PPO. If you’d like to investigate your out-of-network coverage, you can contact the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about the reimbursement rate for CPT code 90834. The insurance company will tell you the allowed amount (which is how much they think therapy should cost) and how much of that allowed amount that they will cover.

    Do you offer sliding scale or therapy services at a reduced rate?

    • We have a number of slots reserved for low-fee clients. However, given the high demand for these slots, they often are not available. Please contact us to inquire if we have any current openings for sliding scale clients.

    • Note the therapy fee is lower to meet with a pre-licensed Psychological Associate

  • What form of payment do you accept?

    • We accept credit card for services rendered. Payment is due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
